Intended use of CRP Test Kit:
The TRUEchemie CRP (C-Reactive Protein) Test Kit (Latex Agglutination Method) is for the qualitative and semi-quantitative determination of CRP in serum.
Introduction of CRP Test Kit:
C – reactive protein (CRP) is a normal alpha globulin, which increases in inflammatory processes. The name CRP is derived from the fact that this protein has the capacity to precipitate the somatic C-carbohydrate of Pneumococcus. Elevated CRP levels are usually observed in a variety of infections and inflammatory conditions where there is tissue destruction.
The CRP level measurement is useful in differential diagnosis of neonatal septicemia and meningitis. CRP levels are always elevated after myocardial infarction and surgery. The CRP test can also help in determining post-surgical complications.
TRUEchemie CRP Test Kit:
The C-Reactive Protein (CRP) Test Kit based on the latex agglutination method is used for the quantitative measurement of CRP in human serum or plasma.
- Principle:
- The test relies on an immunological reaction between CRP antisera bound to biologically inert latex particles and CRP in the test specimen.
- When serum containing greater than 0.8 mg/dL CRP is mixed with the latex reagent, visible agglutination occurs.
- Features:
- Results are obtained within 2 minutes.
- The kit includes liquid controls for quality assurance.
The CRP test is valuable for assessing inflammation levels in various conditions. Remember that this information is for educational purposes only, and if you have specific health concerns, consult a healthcare professional.
